A generous dose of vinegar and red chiles give this a sauce a wonderful hot and tangy burst of flavor. Full of chile flavor, but not too hot, this sauce has no added sweetness. A departure from the more traditional Asian sweet-hot, to a more Southern style of tangy hot.
USE
This sauce is great on fried chicken, open-pit style BBQ, and even french fries. If you like and use any of the Texas Pete® style sauces, you'll love this. While the Forest Hot Sauce makes a great base for Low Country vinegar and pepper BBQ sauce, this sauce is more like the traditional Low Country sauce becuase of the lack of sweetness. Use it as a base for a larger batch of sauce, or place it on the table to use directly on great Carolina open-pit pork BBQ!
